Concert Sound Recording recently provided sound services for the filming of a PBS special in Palm Springs featuring Diahann Carroll, a woman who has contributed a lifetime of entertaining and still has a lot to give!
On site were two of the PBS correspondents providing commentary and conducting interviews with Diahann and others responsible for the live musical performance. Their energy and enthusiasm for providing content for a PBS pledge drive was remarkable and their efforts are greatly appreciated by the loyal fans of the network.
The concert was shot with 6 HDV camera’s, a crane, steady-cam, and dolly. Audio was recorded on an Alesis HD24 and mixed on a Midas console. Stay tuned for details on the air date!
